Stückelberg's rediscovered murals – Fragments from an Artist's Salon in Basel

-
At the center of the show is a salon in Basel decorated with murals by the artist Ernst Stückelberg (1831–1903) in the 1870s. Shortly before the property was demolished in 1937, parts of the salon decoration were saved and stored. Brought out of the dark into the light, the question of the future of the fragments is posed in the exhibition.
