Museum Bruder Klaus

Open to everyone
The „Niklaus von Flüe – Mediator Between Worlds” exhibition offers a contemporary introduction into the life and work of Switzerland’s patron saint, reflecting the serenity and profundity of this extraordinary figure
from the 15th century. It appeals to the young and old, pilgrims and tourists, and people with different backgrounds. The new exhibition is based on historical facts.

Role model
The concerns of Brother Klaus and effects of his work as a mediator and peacemaker are traced to the present. While the historical figure emerges as both an impetus and challenge for the visitor, he presents a striking correlation to our time: his commitment to justice and his appeal for dialogue, his renunciation of material possessions and fleeting glory, his work as a counsellor and peacemaker.
