The rooms host a precious collection of rare religious art, illustrating the history of the Confraternity over the centuries, an exhibition dedicated to rocks, minerals, fossils and speleology of the region and the history of the lightening research centre with the historical significance of storms.

Location/directions

The San Salvatore Museum is located on the summit of Monte San Salvatore. The funicular is located five hundred metres from the (E-35/A 2) Lugano-Sud motorway exit and 5 minutes from the Paradiso railway station. It offers convenient parking and its panoramic cars convey passengers to the summit in just 12 minutes. Additional parking is available in the municipal car park 50 meters from the funicular departure station. The funicular operates from morning to evening, March to November, with half-hourly departures.
