The KUNSTHALLE APPENZELL of the Heinrich-Gebert-Kulturstiftung-Appenzell is dedicated to the work of the painters Carl Liner father and son. It serves the preservation of their work, the confrontation with 20th century art and the present as well as classical and contemporary music.
The brick factory, whose core dates back to the 16th century, was opened in 2003 as a multifunctional cultural centre.
