Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen

The Kunst Halle Sankt Gallen has been committed to contemporary art since 1985. Since then more than 450 artists from all over the world have realised site-specific projects and exhibited here. On an international level the Kunst Halle has made a name for itself as a lively platform and is now one of the most important institutions for young art in Switzerland. It provides new stimuli as a place for experiments and the production of contemporary art and contributes to the international networking of the Swiss art scene. At the centre are questions about the current production of the younger artist generation and socially relevant themes. With four or five exhibitions per year as well as guided tours, workshops for schools and other forms of art education the Kunst Halle wants to continue arousing interest and enthusiasm for contemporary art.
