Kloster Schönthal

ART AND NATURE IN DIALOGUE
International and Swiss artists have produced site-specific sculptures for the meadows and woods around Schoenthal, having first familiarised themselves with the monastery, its history and the archaic landscape. The gradual development of the collection makes it a work-in-progress.

Currently, 35 works by more than 20 artists line the paths and trails.

Ulrich Rückriem

Arbeiten aus der über fünfzigjährigen Schaffensphase des bedeutenden Bildhauers Ulrich Rückriem halten im Kloster Schönthal Einzug. Neben charakteristischen Steinskulpturen werden auch eine Auswahl von Werkzeichnungen präsentiert. Ulrich Rückriems künstlerisches Schaffen ist geprägt von der Frage nach dem Volumen einer Skulptur, ihrer Proportion und ihrer Beziehung zum Raum

Der Skulpturenpark ist das ganze Jahr geöffnet. Die Galerie in der ehemaligen Klosterkirche ist von März bis Oktober jeweils am Freitag von 14-17 Uhr und am Samstag/Sonntag von 11-18 Uhr geöffnet. Führungen für Gruppen sind auch ausserhalb der Öffnungszeiten möglich.

Erwachsene: CHF 10.-
Familien: CHF 20.-
Kunstschaffende: CHF 6.-
Schülerinnen, Schüler / Studierende: CHF 6.- (Schulkassen nur auf Voranmeldung)
Gruppen ab 10 Personen: CHF 8.- (Gruppentarif nur nach Vereinbarung)
