The Fricktaler Museum provides visitors with interesting facts about the history and art of the region. The diverse collection invites you to a journey through time with different collections of prehistory, the Middle Ages and modern times. The furnishings of the house, some of which are in their original condition from the 19th century, also offer a special ambience.

Rheinfelden – On the electric grid! From the trilateral border into the world

The starting point and important goal is the first large hydropower plant in Europe, which was built in Rheinfelden in the 19th century. Starting with the Rheinfelden power plant, the two Swiss engineers Agostino Nizzola and Charles E. L. Brown laid the foundation for a power supply network that today covers the world.
