Archizoom sees architecture as an all-in discipline, a crossroads of major social, spatial, environmental, aesthetic and technological issues. This is why it is important to show and debate the links that architecture entertains with art, science and society. This regular and ongoing dialogue between the general public and professionals marks the outline of a perpetually questioning architecture.
EPFL was one of the first schools of architecture in the world to launch a regular round of public exhibitions and talks. Figures invited to this forum include Frei Otto, Paolo Portoghesi, Manfredo Tafuri, Alvaro Siza, Jacques Herzog, Peter Zumthor, David Chipperfield, Jean Starobinski… and more recently Anne Lacaton, Kazuyo Sejima, Norman Foster and Olafur Eliasson.
