Underground. Ecosistemi da esplorare

I funghi sono dei maestri ancestrali. La loro capacità di rigenerare, trasformare e riciclare, connettendo elementi e organismi dell’ambiente, ci spinge a interrogarci sui rapporti di reciprocità e di collaborazione propri agli esseri viventi. Adottare quale modello di vita le strategie sviluppate nel corso dei millenni dal micelio è allo stesso tempo un'utopia romantica e una necessità.

L’arte contemporanea è un laboratorio in cui gli artisti riflettono su tematiche d’attualità, sperimentando materiali e supporti. La mostra «Underground. Ecosistemi da esplorare» invita così a considerare la ricchezza delle nostre interconnessioni e interdipendenze e a percepire il mondo globalizzato di oggi come un’opportunità creativa e rigenerativa. La natura diventa allora una fonte di ispirazione non solo artistica, ma anche di elaborazione di nuovi modelli sociali.

Pilze sind alte Lehrmeister. Ihre Fähigkeit, sich zu regenerieren, zu wandeln und wiederaufbereiten und dabei Elemente und Organismen der Umwelt miteinander zu verbinden, gibt uns Anlass, die Beziehungen der Gegenseitigkeit und Zusammenarbeit zu hinterfragen, durch die sich Lebewesen auszeichnen. Die Strategien, die das Myzel über Jahrtausende hinweg entwickelt hat, als Lebensmodell zu übernehmen, stellt sowohl eine romantische Utopie als auch eine Notwendigkeit dar.

Die zeitgenössische Kunst ist ein Laboratorium, in dem Künstler über aktuelle Themen nachdenken und mit Materialien und Medien experimentieren. Die Ausstellung «Underground: Exploring Ecosystems» lädt uns dazu ein, über den Reichtum unserer Verbindungen und Abhängigkeiten nachzudenken und die heutige globalisierte Welt als eine kreative und regenerative Chance zu begreifen. Die Natur wird so zu einer Inspirationsquelle nicht nur für die Kunst, sondern auch für die Ausarbeitung neuer Gesellschaftsmodelle.

Les champignons sont des maîtres ancestraux. Leur capacité à régénérer, transformer, recycler et connecter l’environnement nous invite à nous interroger sur les relations de réciprocité et les collaborations en jeu dans le milieu naturel. Adopter comme modèle de vie les stratégies développées depuis des millénaires par le mycélium est à la fois une utopie romantique et une nécessité.

L’art contemporain est un laboratoire dans lequel les artistes explorent les questions d’actualité en expérimentant avec les matériaux et supports les plus divers. L’exposition « Underground : écosystèmes à explorer » nous invite ainsi à considérer la richesse de nos interconnections et interdépendances et à percevoir le monde globalisé d’aujourd’hui comme une opportunité créative et régénératrice. La nature devient alors une source d’inspiration, non seulement artistique, mais aussi pour l’élaboration de nouveaux modèles sociaux.

Fungi are ancestral masters. Their capacity for regeneration, transformation, recycling and connecting the environment gives us pause to reflect on the reciprocal relationships and the collaborations in play in the natural environment. To adopt as a model for our own lives the strategies developed over millennia by mycelia is both a romantic utopia and a necessity.

Contemporary art is a laboratory in which artists experiment with a great diversity of materials to explore the issues of the day. The exhibition «Underground. Exploring Ecosystems» invites us to consider the profusion of our interconnections and interdependencies and to view today's globalised world as an opportunity for creativity and regeneration. Nature, accordingly, becomes a source of inspiration, not only for art but also for the development of new social models.
